Opening to the public on June 13, 2022, the Victims of Communism Museum educates visitors about the history and manifold victims and crimes of communism. Because the United States has served as a beacon of hope and safe haven to many fleeing Communist tyranny, we chose a location two blocks from the White House in the heart of Washington, D.C.

The Museum's three main galleries feature the detailed history of communism and the heroic struggles of those who resisted it, and showcase temporary exhibits in cooperation with partner organizations to spotlight moments and individuals of the last century. The Museum also has the capacity to host school groups and private events in its educational center.
